Our mission is to help small businesses reach customers nationwide — whether they're artisan bakers, honey producers, granola makers, jam makers, chocolatiers, or speciality coffee roasters.

Most products are made in small batches, ensuring they are fresh and carefully prepared.

To keep orders moving quickly, all sellers are required to dispatch orders within 48 hours of purchase.

If a seller is unable to dispatch within this timeframe, the order is automatically cancelled and you will receive a full refund.

Every seller on Cosy Cookie must be verified with:

  • A valid Local Council Registration
  • A Food Hygiene Certificate with a minimum 2-star rating

Sellers are also required to list all ingredients and clearly identify any allergens.

Orders are delivered directly to your door using trusted postal services such as Royal Mail or other courier services.

Many sellers also offer local collection if you are nearby.

If you have a question or problem with your order, you can contact the seller directly through the Cosy Cookie platform.

If the issue cannot be resolved, you can raise a formal dispute with us.

Your payment is protected: sellers only receive their funds after you confirm delivery or automatically 24 hours after tracking confirms your order has been delivered.

Launch your online store for free with no setup, hosting or listing fees.

We charge sellers a competitive fee of £2.99 + 5% of the order value, making Cosy Cookie an affordable alternative to many other marketplaces.

Our transparent pricing means more of your hard-earned profits stay with you.

To sell on Cosy Cookie, you must have:

  • A valid Local Council Registration or permit
  • A valid Food Hygiene Certificate with a minimum 2-star rating
  • Your own Stripe account to securely process payments and verify your identity

We also strongly recommend that all sellers have appropriate public liability insurance.

Cosy Cookie is a marketplace built around postal delivery and local collection.

Unlike fast-food delivery platforms, you can bake and prepare orders at your own pace. However, once an order is placed, you must dispatch it within 48 hours.

If an order is not marked as dispatched within 48 hours, it will be automatically cancelled to ensure a reliable experience for customers.

To avoid missing any orders, sellers should regularly check their email notifications.

Your payment is released once the customer confirms they have received their order.

If the customer doesn't confirm delivery, your funds will automatically be released 24 hours after tracking shows the item has been delivered.

Sellers must clearly list all ingredients for every product.

You are legally required to declare all allergens.

While Cosy Cookie operates as a marketplace platform, we expect every shop to maintain accurate, professional and attractive product listings.
